Nongnooch Tropical Garden Pattaya Hosts "Aravnailah" Mongolian Consecration Ceremony
Invoking the Grace of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara: A Rare Opportunity for Worship in Thailand
January 22, 2026 – Mr. Kampon Tansacha, President of Nongnooch Tropical Garden Pattaya, presided over a Buddhist consecration ceremony following the Mahayana traditions of Mongolia. The event was honored by the presence of H.E. Mr. Tumur Amarsanaa, the Ambassador of Mongolia to Thailand, who invited Buddhist monks from Mongolia to perform the "Aravnailah" ceremony.
The Sacred Ritual
The Aravnailah is considered a significant ritual in which monks chant parittas, prayers, and sacred mantras according to ancient traditions. During the ceremony, sacred objects brought from major temples in Mongolia were enshrined within the statue. Upon completion, the Buddha image is revered as a medium for the mercy, wisdom, and grace of the Buddha.
A Rare Spiritual Opportunity
This event offers a unique opportunity for both Thai and foreign tourists visiting Nong Nooch Garden to pay respects and seek blessings from the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, known in Mongolia as "Arya Baala" (Arya Avalokiteśvara).
According to traditional beliefs, those who have the chance to worship will receive:
• Compassion and Mercy: A sense of spiritual protection.
• Mental Peace: Clarity and wisdom for daily life.
• Inner Strength: Encouragement and resilience.
• Merit Making: Accumulating virtues that bring peace and prosperity to oneself and society as a whole.
