On 29 November 2025, Nongnooch Garden Pattaya announced its move toward becoming a fully sustainable green attraction by signing a contract to install a 3,503-kWp solar rooftop power generation system, along with developing facilities that support sustainable tourism.

Mr. Kampon Tansacha, President of Nongnooch Garden Pattaya, signed a turnkey purchase contract for the installation of the 3,503.00-kWp solar rooftop system, worth over 60 million baht. Nongnooch Garden Pattaya will fully invest in the project and has appointed Iradian Solar Co., Ltd. to install and manage the solar energy system.

Mr. Kampon Tansacha stated after the signing that this project marks a significant step for Nongnooch Garden Pattaya in driving eco-friendly tourism and promoting environmental sustainability. The project aims to achieve four key objectives:

  1. Enhancing visitor facilities:
Developing a “solar-powered parking area” that not only provides shade and reduces heat for visitors’ vehicles but also enhances overall visitor convenience.
  2. Supporting electric vehicles (EVs):
Establishing dedicated EV charging stations to accommodate the increasing number of electric vehicle users. Charging units will be available for visitors traveling with EVs.
  3. Reducing carbon emissions:
The project concretely supports carbon reduction initiatives and aligns with global tourism trends that emphasize environmental responsibility.
  4. Increasing clean energy usage:
Utilizing solar energy, a clean and renewable resource, to generate electricity within the garden helps reduce dependency on the main power grid, lower energy costs, and reduce the organization’s carbon footprint.

Nongnooch Garden Pattaya continues to raise its environmental conservation standards while providing comprehensive services for visitors. The goal is to become a leading Green Attraction, contributing to carbon reduction and fostering a better environment for the planet.
