Nongnooch Tropical Garden Pattaya's Ceremony for Changing 9 Mantra Flags from Bhutan- a Good Fortune

Today at 9:00 a.m., Mr. Kampon Tansatcha, the president of Nongnooch Pattaya Garden, along with the executive team, took part in a special ceremony. Nongnooch Garden Pattaya replaced 9 "mantra flags" from Bhutan, with the honorable presence of Phrakhru Kasem Kittisophon, the Abbot of Wat Samakkhi Banphot, and a group of 9 monks. Together, they adorned the holy flags with gold, reciting sacred words to invoke blessings and good fortune.

The tradition of changing these magical flags at Nongnooch Garden occurs every 6 months or as needed. Each time, the ceremony involves raising the new flags atop the poles, accompanied by the presence of 9 monks to amplify the positive energies. Fresh sets of flags, graciously provided by the Bhutan Embassy in Thailand, are used for each replacement.

Originally, these "Mantra flags" were crafted using natural dyes representing the elements of earth, water, wind, fire, and air. Inscribed with prayers in five vibrant colors symbolizing the elements, they serve as guardians against illness and carriers of wishes for happiness. These flags hold deep significance, adding auspiciousness to the atmosphere of Nongnooch Garden Pattaya, welcoming visitors seeking blessings and good fortune.
