Nongnooch Garden Pattaya is preparing to organize the “Nongnooch Plants Expo 2025” plant expo to create opportunities for Thai farmers to sell their plants directly to international buyers.
On February 15, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Feuang Fah Room, Nongnooch Garden Pattaya, there was a press conference for the Nongnooch Plants Expo 2025, attended by Mr. Kampon Tansacha, President of Nongnooch Garden Pattaya, Ajarn Surat Wannano (Ban Kampu), Senior Collector, Mr. Chandra G. Hendarto, the commissioner of the Indonesian aroid society, Mr. Stan Walkley, Mr. Ross McKinnon, and Ms. Kannika Premprasartsit, President of the Growth Together Group.
The purpose of the event is to promote and support farmers who produce and grow trees. In Thailand, there is a plant expo that is recognized worldwide, namely the Suan Luang Rama IX, which is held every year in December. This event was held in June, giving interested parties the opportunity to participate twice a year. Nongnooch Garden Pattaya is a source of learning about plant species. Therefore, we want to open up an area for Thai people to have more opportunities to sell plant species to foreigners. This will make the plant industry in the country continuously develop.
This year's event is organized under the concept of "Innovation, New Plant Varieties". The event will be held from June 6-8, 2025 at Nongnooch Garden Pattaya , Tradition Meeting Room, Hall 1-3. The participants are famous plant species developers from abroad, such as Taiwan, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and China.
