President of Nongnooch Garden Pattaya Receives “Kon Dee Sri Mueang Chon” (Outstanding Citizen of Chonburi) Award — A Motivation to Keep Moving Forward
On April 11, 2025, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Deputy Minister of Commerce, and Mr. Thawatchai Srithong, Governor of Chonburi Province, presided over the ceremony to present honorary plaques and pins to recipients of the “Kon Dee Sri Mueang Chon” (Outstanding Citizen of Chonburi) Award for the year 2024. The event took place at the Honorary Pavilion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother (opposite Phra Phutthahing Shrine) in Mueang District, Chonburi Province.
Mr. Kampon Tansacha, President of Nongnooch Garden Pattaya, received the award in the category of “Outstanding Contributor and Promoter of Chonburi Province.” He expressed his pride and honor in receiving such recognition. However, during the award presentation, Mr. Kampon was overseas, promoting Thailand on the international stage at the nearly 100-year-old Bloemencorso Bollenstreek Flower Parade in the Netherlands. He therefore appointed Mrs. Pattanan Khantisukphan, General Manager of Nongnooch Garden Pattaya, to receive the prestigious award on his behalf.
The Chonburi Provincial Development Office revealed that the “Kon Dee Sri Mueang Chon” project has been ongoing since 1984, with the goal of honoring individuals who demonstrate selflessness, exemplary conduct, and dedication to their community — serving as role models for society.
