French Garden 1
In 1996-1997, Nongnooch Pattaya Garden expanded the area to store enough water for increased use. Therefore, the garden dredged the lake to be bigger and deeper. Because of dredging the lake, we got plenty of soils and pile up into a small valley.
In the beginning, this area was used as a sunflower field. Later on, Mr.Kampon came up with the idea of geometric garden arrangement of Versailles Palace, in France. So, he began to create the French garden, and it spent about 2 year to complete.
However, the French garden is opened to the public in 1998. After that he added various architectural decorations, such as pagoda, ornamental plants, numerous trees, and red telephone from England.
