Nongnooch Garden Receives Certification for Good Practice Standards for Elephant Sanctuary
Nongnooch Garden Pattaya is proud to announce that we have received a certificate of good practice standards for elephant sanctuaries from the Department of Livestock Development and the National Bureau of Agricultural Commodity and Food Standards, making us the first in Thailand to achieve this recognition.
Currently, Nongnooch Garden cares for 78 elephants, and we are committed to providing the best possible care for each elephant under our supervision. Receiving this certification demonstrates the efforts and hard work of our team, which is dedicated to managing and caring for the elephants ethically and appropriately.
Being an elephant sanctuary that meets recognized standards not only confirms the quality of our elephant care but also assures visitors and those interested in coming to see the elephants about our commitment to conservation and the study of elephant behavior.
We believe that elephants are vital to Thailand's ecosystem and culture, and properly caring for them according to established standards is essential. In addition to caring for the elephants, Nongnooch Garden plays a role in educating visitors about elephant conservation and environmental protection.
We invite everyone to visit Nongnooch Garden Pattaya to experience the wonderful interactions with our elephants and to join us in the effort to conserve Thai elephants together.
